Quinte - Flight 53 (Prince Edward Flying Club)
Picton Airport is a Prior Permission Required (PPR) airport, and operates as a private aerodrome. The airport is sometimes used for other activities so please check NOTAMs for details. The aerodrome is available for users of the Prince Edward Flying Club and pilots operating private aircraft, provided they receive PPR to land. Base 31 does not operate any aircraft maintenance nor have any refueling facilities. Periodically the private aerodrome is closed to flight activities for events occurring on or near the runways.
Pilots seeking to land at the Base 31 aerodrome must seek prior permission to land via email: aerodrome@base31.ca. After hours and on weekends: 613-921-3832. Landing and tie-down fees may be applied. PPR will be granted between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Permission to land on weekends must be arranged in advance. NOTE: PPR is not required for Fly-in events.

Find YOUR Wings Career Fair for Girls & Young Women
By all accounts, our first-ever Career Fair for young women and girls on September 23, 2023 was an outstanding success. With over 300 people in attendance - families, exhibitors and members - combined with great weather - it was a memorable and informative event.
This was the final event of our 70th Anniversary celebration and Prince Edward Flying Club would like to thank everyone who attended, and for the many exhibitors and presenters who made the long trek to the County. Together they highlighted what their organization could offer young women and girls who are interested in exploring the wonderful world of aviation.
Also check out our 2023 Find YOUR Wing page for a pictorial look at the event.
